I've taught it for years... I've hounded on the importance of it.... and then I go ahead and get too busy to do it myself.... Take my word...DON'T IGNORE THIS WARNING!! Backup your work!! If you are on a webtv make a mirror site on a different server. That can be easily done with the Star Boulevard Transload tool. But DO NOT put it off! I know this won't seem real to you until you experience it for yourself... that's human nature I suppose.... but maybe this will help you understand the importance a little better. My server went down yesterday and it appeared that many of the files were missing... including my graphics file. I spent the day wondering if I would be recreating the past 6 weeks of round the clock webpage design... close to 200 webpages!! Within my chat circle we stood to lose hundreds of pages of work... which could have all been backed up very easily! Not a good feeling...and it could have been avoided very easily.

As soon as I recover I will add more detail to this page... the pros and cons of each of the following servers.. now you have something to look forward to!!
