Deal or No Deal?

Imagine that one day your boss calls you into his office and says, “Okay . . . we’re going to play Reality Deal or No Deal. Here is how it works: You start by choosing one of the following two cases:

Case #1:

You can keep getting paid the same income you are getting today, with the same rules we’re playing by right now, and I will pay you a salary until you retire, are laid off, the company closes, or for any reason you can’t come to work. At that time I will provide the retirement plan currently in place, which is usually about 50% of your salary at the time of termination. I will provide vacation days and sick days according to the company guidelines, but if you need time off for an extended illness or family emergency you will need to take leave without pay. I realize that in those emergency events you will probably need the money more than ever, but there isn’t anything I can do about that. I hope you are socking some money into your savings account to cover situations like this. In other words, we can just keep doing what we’ve been doing and you can keep getting what you have been getting as long as you show up to work, AND there is work to show up to. You can play it safe and walk away with the very first offer the banker gives you, OR

Case #2: You can continue to receive your current salary just as we’ve talked about above, AND you can go for the MILLION DOLLARS!

How that works is that you will receive a new set of 26 cases each month. Each of these cases will contain the name of one person you have identified that you want to invite to join you in playing Reality Deal or No Deal. As you begin to open the cases you will find that at least one and maybe two or three of the cases will contain the name of someone who will be excited to join you in this Reality Deal or No Deal game for themselves. The other 23-25, however, will say, “No, thank you,”and some of them will even be very critical and skeptical and will try to convince you that you look stupid playing the game, that you are making a fool of yourself, and that you should give up now and walk away with the original deal. After all, in this game the original deal is always available as a fallback—but it is NOT the million dollars! In order to win the Million Dollars you will have to have the guts to go all the way and stay in the game!!

You may find in this game of Reality Deal or No Deal that, unlike the real game, the majority of the audience seems to be encouraging you to settle for the lower deal instead of going for the Million! However, anyone who keeps playing the game, in spite of the risk and in spite of the ridicule, WILL eventually obtain the Million Dollars. Here is how:

If you make it through enough cases in the first month to find 1 person who is excited to join you in the game and go for the Million, you will receive approximately $1 (Okay, it's really $35, but go with me here. We're speaking a combination of real and figurative!). For each month after that, each time you go through the 26 cases far enough to find that 1 person who wants to join you in the game and start playing himself by opening his own set of cases to find 1 person to play, the previous month’s amount will double. It is important that in opening the cases you find the one who has the passion to go all the way to the Million, and then train him on how to play the game all the way to the end so that they win. If everyone stays in the game, then that original dollar will at least double every month for the rest of your life, or at least until you are receiving far more through this ‘side job’of Reality Deal or No Deal than you currently make from your regular job.

There are some real advantages to playing Reality Deal or No Deal that you will really enjoy. First of all, you will get to choose the hours you play the game. You also get to decide when and where to open the cases— step aside, Howie! We are making the calls here!

You may want to open a case during a meeting you already had scheduled. You may have a few minutes at home one night and decide to open one of the cases and make a phone call or send an email. You may decide you want to go to a big city event and open all of the cases in one day. You may even find that sometimes the cases just show up out of nowhere—when you have lunch with an old friend, or in the restaurant where you’re having dinner, driving through the drive through window, or as you are in an elevator. One of the nice things about this particular game is that you are not actually limited to 26 cases per month. You can open as many cases as you can find! Some months you may look really hard and find 52 cases to open, or 75 cases. If you open more cases you will find more people ready to play the game. Other months you may find someone to join you in the first 10 cases you open and decide to take some time off for vacation with your family. Of course—you will find that there are ‘cases’all over the world to open, so you still may end up opening some here and there wherever you go —but the point is that you won’t need to—you get to choose.

Other advantages of this reality version of Deal or No Deal include choosing the dress code. Sometimes you may want to open one of the cases while sitting at your computer or talking on your phone still in your pajamas! You may open some cases in the early morning hours and other cases in the middle of the day. YOU get to choose every time! Also, as a player in the Reality Deal or No Deal show, you receive lots of additional perks -- opportunities to gain knowledge and personal growth and development, free hardcover books, e-books, audiobooks, live author interviews, meeting personally with best-selling authors and other enlightened people and celebrities. You may even get to travel around the world with these best-selling authors and other enlightened people if you have the desire. You may become a celebrity by publishing you own book, or reconnect with long lost friends that show up in cases. The sky is the limit as to the perks you may find along the way.

As a contestant you also qualify for a Great BIG tax refund, because part of your employee benefits package will include teaching you how to make even your morning and afternoon ‘commute’to your regular job a legitimate tax deduction, how to make almost every mile you drive legitimate tax deductions, how to legally pay your children for the work they do to help you and even how to make your current insurance premiums become 100% tax deductions –legitimately!

Now, the truth is that, once you have located three partners to work with you, the monetary reward that is doubling each month and building toward the Million will continue to grow and double, even if on occasion you don’t get through all 26 cases to find your ONE. It obviously would slow things down a bit, but your monthly commission will continue to grow because you have now attracted many other players to join you in playing the game and each time they play the game, everyone reaps the benefits! Sine they are still opening the cases, you still get a monthly check, even if you are pre-occupied with life for a month or two or vacationing on a beach in Maui. Not only do you get paid vacation and paid sick leave—with Reality Deal or No Deal you get paid an unlimited number of personal days and you even get paid while you sleep! In other words, after you recruit three other players to join you, the game goes on whether you show up for it or not. If you need to take time off to be with your family—no problem! If you become ill or injured and are unable to work—no problem! If you want to take an extended vacation or leave—no problem! If you decide to retire—permanently—no problem!! The original $1 is still almost doubling every month.

So how powerful is this Reality Deal or No Deal? Let’s run the numbers.-- If you have one person join you in the game each month and train her to do the same thing you are doing, at the end of one year you will have 4,096 people as part of your team and your monthly income will be almost $3,000. However, you will also receive 100% matching checks for each of the 12 people you personally invited to play the game, so your income could actually be much more than that.

It all sounds so wonderful, too good to be true, really, which is why so many people from the cases and from the audience will be encouraging you to give it up and settle for the original deal. The thing is—you have the original deal already, and while you may even enjoy the work you do, chances are that the paycheck is going to end when you quit showing up to work. In Reality Deal or No Deal, EVERYONE that has the guts to keep going to the end can have what they have now AND the MILLION!!

So why are there so many people who will settle for routine and not go for the million? FEAR.

Fear of Failure—What if it doesn’t really work this way and I look like a fool?

Fear of Embarrassment—what will my friends think? So many people look down on my industry without understanding. What if they think less of me?

Fear of Abandonment –What if my friends leave me? What if they don’t understand and they walk away every time they see me coming?

Fear of Rejection –What if somebody tells me ‘no’? What would I do?

What about Time? In order to play the game well people do need to take time to learn the ropes. They need to understand the Reality Deal or No Deal rules and products. The majority of this time will need to be taken in the beginning stages when people are only receiving the $1, so it may seem for awhile like they are putting in a lot more effort than what they are getting back. What Reality Deal or No Deal players need to remember is that EVERY person who stays in the game comes out a winner! The only way to lose is to drop out. Unlike in the real game—the Million Dollars NEVER leaves the board. It is there for the taking for anyone courageous enough to stay and play!

What about investment of time and money? There will be incidental costs along the way, as with any other venture in life. Actually, the cost to join in the game is less than $50. That’s far less than people pay to fly out to play the real game! And—EVERYONE who wants to play Reality Deal or No Deal gets a chance, so NO ONE pays the money and then has to sit on the side. In fact—the more people who get in the game the more quickly the Million Dollars is available for everyone. Of course, all of the players start getting money back while they are building toward the Million, so cost actually becomes income in a matter of weeks.

What about the investment of time? As mentioned before—the PLAYER is the boss in Reality Deal of No Deal! YOU decide when, where and how. Most of the cases can be opened as a natural part of the day. There may be some preparation and follow-up that you want to set aside specific time for as you play this all important game of selecting which cases to open up first. But let’s change games for just a minute and play What If—

WHAT IF it really was a huge investment of time for the first year? WHAT IF it took TWO years of really hard work before the game started paying dividends that were comfortable for you?

How hard would you work for how long to know that you were taken care of after retirement?

How hard would you work for how long to know that if you were in an accident tomorrow, or laid off, or if the company you worked 23 years for shut its door just as you were starting to think about retirement, that you would still have a growing income that would fill in the gap?

How hard would you work for how long for the peace of mind that comes from knowing that YOU can CHOOSE your occupation and how to spend your time for the rest of your life without worrying about how much it pays or worrying that you’ll have to do something you don’t really want to do because it is what fits the family schedule and budget and lifestyle?

Only you can answer that question for you—but I’ll tell you what the answer is for me. I would work as hard as I needed to for as long as it took to put the foundation in place. I will walk past whatever barriers and how ever many naysayers I encounter no matter what it takes to stay in the game. Why? Because, the peace of mind and freedom that has already come from winning at playing the game of Reality Deal or No Deal is absolutely priceless! If it feels this good in the beginning stages of the game, just think how exciting it’s going to get as we all start getting closer to the Million!

So . . . remember that the MILLION is there for everyone! The only way to lose is to never play or not have the wherewithal to stay in the game.

So, I ask you--- DEAL, or NO DEAL!?!
